SEO and AI visibility for Agencies & service providers.
Agencies sell visibility but often neglect their own. AI answers can shape a pitch shortlist before the first call. Clear specialization and approved results help buyers find the right agency.

Our clients
Insel Gruppe — Bern University HospitalYou sell visibility and are not visible yourself.
With agencies, your own marketing is always a project for later. Customer projects come first, your own website shows the status from three years ago, and the best cases are in the pitch deck instead of on the Internet. Meanwhile, the shortlist for the next call for proposals is created in an AI response in which you do not appear.
Whether performance, creation, development, recruiting or public relations: the first step is not a measure, but a decision - which projects you really want. We then build the positioning pages, the cases and the comparisons that support this decision.
What changes
- You'll be on the list when someone asks for an agency for your focus.
- Your projects can be viewed as separate pages instead of as an image gallery without any meaning.
- The comparisons that you actually make in the pitch are on your website instead of on third-party rankings.
What we do for Agencies & service providers.
Sharpen positioning
Which projects do you want and which don't you? Without this decision, every further measure is scattering - that's why it is at the beginning, not at the end.
Pages per focus
One page per discipline, with process, requirements, price range and boundaries. Not four disciplines on one service page.
Make cases usable
Initial situation, procedure, result, period - as separate pages. Where approval is missing, anonymized with industry and scale.
Address comparisons
The competitors you are actually competing against as your own comparison pages - with at least one honest concession.
Technical articles with substance
Knowledge from your projects instead of summaries of other people's summaries. Pure text polishing achieves almost nothing in measurable terms.
White label for your customers
If SEO and AI visibility are not your focus: We take care of the part in the background, you remain the contact person.
How are agencies themselves recommended by AI?
Agencies have a self-marketing problem that their clients don't have: their own visibility is always the project that gets postponed. In our industry benchmark, the average for B2B service providers is 20 out of 100; and agencies we measured rarely score higher. The cobbler's children problem is not an anecdote in this industry, but rather measurable.
At the same time, agency search is one of the areas where AI is being used early. The shortlist is created before a call for proposals goes out: three to five names mentioned in response to a question like “which agency for Shopify migrations in the DACH region”. Anyone missing there won't be rejected - they'll never be checked, and in your own CRM it looks like a quiet month.
What is named follows known patterns. The Princeton study (KDD 2024) measures +115% citation probability for sources, +41% for expert quotes with attribution and +40% for concrete statistics; copy editing alone brings around +3%. For agencies this means: The case with numbers, time period and method beats the third round of text polish on the home page.
The sore point is the positioning. An agency that offers “Strategy, Design, Development and Performance” doesn’t fully answer a single question. Google AI Mode breaks down a query into eight to twelve sub-questions and only has around 12% overlap with the classic Google top 10 - anyone who only uses the main keyword is not represented in this ranking at all.
There is also a topic that agencies are reluctant to touch: comparisons with the competition. If you don't name your competitors on your own website, you're leaving this answer to third-party sources and listicles. A comparison page that honestly admits at least one point to the other side is weighted differently by buyers and systems than one that only claims its own superiority.
The material for this is usually already in the house. Completed projects with reliable figures, recurring objections from pitches, specialist knowledge from implementation: This is where the statements that are quoted come from. The effort lies less in writing than in getting this knowledge out of people's minds and out of old presentations - and getting customers' approval for it.

Buying questions AI answers in this industry.
“Which agency specializes in our problem?”
“Who has done a project like this before?”
“How are Agency A and Agency B different?”
We ask these questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, then record which companies are named.
What holds visibility back for Agencies & service providers.
Your own visibility is always a project for later.
Customer projects take priority, your own marketing slips to the end of the week and then out of the quarter. The result is a website that shows the status of three years ago - and cases that are in the pitch deck but not online.
Positioning as a list.
Strategy, design, development, performance. Four disciplines on one page, none of them answered. This isn't wrong for buyers, just useless; and there's nothing to use it for AI systems.
Cases without numbers and without release.
Nice pictures, no result, no time period, no customer name. A case without a verifiable statement is a picture gallery. Getting approval takes work, but it's the work that makes the difference.
How we make Agencies & service providers visible.
Define niche
Which projects do you really want and which don't you? Without this decision, any further action is dispersal.
Make cases usable
Result, period, method, release. A separate page per case instead of a reference wall without any statement.
Address comparisons
The duels that you actually lose in the pitch, as their own sides - with at least one honest concession.
Measure mentions
We check which agencies are mentioned for each provider question on a monthly basis. That's the number that counts, not the number of visitors.

We start with the questions your market is looking for answers to and what you already have in the way of evidence. The order comes from both - not from an editorial plan.
When we are not the right fit.
Almost every agency we measure is invisible when it comes to their own vendor questions. Not out of ignorance; people know exactly what to do. There is no client to put pressure on. That's why the first step with agencies is rarely a measure, but rather a decision: Which projects do you want, and what are you leaving out for them?

Common questions about Agencies & service providers.
Isn't it strange that an agency hires an agency?
It's the norm. For agencies, your own visibility is not a knowledge problem, but a priority problem: customer projects always come first. Above all, an external partner provides what is missing internally - a client who sets deadlines.
Our customers do not allow cases. What then?
We then work with anonymized cases: industry, initial situation, procedure, outcome measure, without names. This is weaker than a released case, but significantly stronger than a reference wall without a statement. At the same time, it is worth systematically requesting approval - it is easier for ongoing projects than years later.
Do we really need to call competitors by their names?
You don't have to, but the answer will come up anyway - on other people's listicles. Your own comparison side with an honest concession to the other side is more credible than silence and is cited by systems more often than pure self-portrayal.
We offer everything. Is that a problem?
For visibility, yes. “Everything” doesn’t answer any question. This doesn't mean that you have to cut out services - just that the pages are cut according to focus and one of them takes the lead.
Aren't you competing with us?
For SEO and GEO agencies: partly yes. That's why we say it openly in the initial consultation if there is an overlap. In practice, we more often work with agencies whose focus lies elsewhere; performance, design, development; and take on the part that they don't cover themselves.
How long does it take?
The first mentions of niche questions usually appear after four to eight weeks per page. It takes longer for competitive questions about providers because established sources and listicles determine the answer - then the first step is to appear in these sources.
How do you measure progress?
We measure which agencies are mentioned for each provider question and track developments on a monthly basis. In addition, there are rankings and access to the positioning and case pages. Inquiries are the late indicator, so mentions are the early indicator.
What doesn't this work solve?
It does not replace a network or recommendation. In this industry, the best projects continue to come from people who know you. Visibility ensures that you appear even where no one knows you - it does not replace the rest.
