SEO and AI visibility for B2B & complex services.
B2B buyers ask AI about providers, comparisons and risks before contacting sales. Clear service pages, approved cases and independent sources help them verify a shortlist. We build that evidence.

Our clients
Insel Gruppe — Bern University HospitalThe shortlist is created before your request is received.
In B2B purchasing, the shortlist is decided before anyone speaks to you. The question is about providers, differences and risks - and this is answered by AI systems that prefer verifiable sources. Anyone who is missing there will not be rejected, but will never be examined.
Whether mechanical engineering, software services, trading or technical consulting: We build the layer of evidence that makes your sales arguments publicly understandable. Service pages with a clear job, comparisons that admit something, and sources that don't belong to you.
What changes
- You will be mentioned when someone asks about providers for your problem - not only when they know your name.
- Each buying-relevant service has its own page that completely answers the question.
- The comparisons that your sales department actually loses are on your website instead of on third-party lists.
What we do for B2B & complex services.
Research buying questions
We measure what questions your market really asks AI systems and who is named on them today - per system, instead of inventing them.
Service pages with a clear purpose
One page per buying-relevant service, with the process, requirements, boundaries and price range. No collection page for five offers.
Comparison and alternative pages
The duels that you actually fight, as separate sides - with at least one honest concession to the other side.
Answer related buyer questions
Costs, process, requirements, integration, risks: the sub-questions that Google AI Mode also asks, as separate pages.
Publish in-house expertise
We take the objections from sales discussions and the knowledge from completed projects and use them to make quotable statements.
Build independent sources
Trade press, directories and mentions; specifically the sources that AI actually cites in your category.
How are B2B providers recommended by AI?
In B2B, the shortlist is created earlier than the enquiry. SaaS and tech are leading the change: According to HubSpot State of AI (2025), 52% of provider searches are already done via AI assistants, followed by finance at 38%. Anyone missing from these answers will not be rejected; they will never be examined.
The evidence on what gets cited is well studied. The Princeton study on Generative Engine Optimization (KDD 2024) measured a 115% higher citation probability when sources are cited, +41% for expert quotes with attribution and +40% for concrete statistics. Copy editing alone without new substance brings around +3%. For B2B this means: The expert article with numbers beats the third round of text polish.
The third factor is structure. Google AI Mode works with query fan-out and breaks down a query into eight to twelve sub-questions; the overlap with the classic Google top 10 is around 12%. If you only use the main keyword, you will answer a fraction of what the engine actually researches.
In practice, this means a different website structure. Instead of a service page that describes five offers at the same time, each buying-relevant service needs its own page with a clear job - plus the pages that cover the secondary questions: process, costs, requirements, differentiation from alternatives. It is these secondary questions that are asked in the expanded AI search.
Then there is the part that many B2B providers shy away from: comparisons. If you don't name your competitors on your website, you're leaving this answer to outside sources. A comparison page that honestly admits at least one point to the other side is weighted differently by buyers and systems than one that only claims its own superiority.
The evidence for this is usually in-house, just not on the website. Completed projects with reliable figures, subject matter knowledge from sales, recurring objections from sales discussions: This is where the statements that are quoted come from. The effort lies less in writing than in extracting this knowledge.

Buying questions AI answers in this industry.
“Which providers are suitable for our problem?”
“How do providers A and B differ?”
“What are the risks of this solution?”
We ask these questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, then record which companies are named.
What holds visibility back for B2B & complex services.
The shortlist is created without you.
Before an enquiry goes out, AI has already named three providers. Anyone who is missing there does not exist for this purchase - no matter how good the sales department is. In CRM, this looks like a quiet month, not a lost competition.
The website does not explain the offer.
One service page for five services, abstraction instead of answers. AI cannot draw any evidence from this, and buyers cannot make a decision. Every buying-relevant service needs its own page with a clear job.
No independent proof.
No specialist press, no directories, no citable sources. Your own website alone does not carry an AI recommendation - engines give much greater weight to third-party sources than self-representation.

We start with measured purchasing questions, not with an editorial plan. What results from this depends on where the gap is - on a page, in an article or on a foreign domain.
When we are not the right fit.
The most common mistake in B2B is having one service page for five services. It is convenient for internal coordination and worthless for purchasing decisions. A page that tries to cover everything doesn't answer a single question completely; and complete answers are exactly what are quoted.

Common questions about B2B & complex services.
Our market is tiny. Is it worth it?
Just then. In small markets, a few sources shape AI responses; whoever fills them dominates the recommendation. The effort is more manageable than in consumer markets because there are fewer sources to build.
Our purchasing decisions take months. Does visibility help?
The shortlist will be created at the beginning of these months. AI nomination does not decide whether you finish, but rather whether you are even in the race. Anyone who only notices in the offer phase has not been compared before.
Can we start with a single service?
Yes, and that is the normal case: the service with the clearest offer and the largest margin first. Afterwards, what has a measurable effect is expanded - not the entire portfolio at once.
How much time does this cost internally?
For each service page, we expect a technical discussion of around one hour plus an approval session. Without this specialist knowledge, generic things emerge and generic things are not cited.
Why mention competitors on our website?
Because buyers and AI systems check both. A comparison page without a single disadvantage reads as advertising and is weighted accordingly. An honest admission makes the remaining statements credible.
Isn’t this just classic content marketing?
The order is different. Content marketing starts with an editorial plan, we start with measured buyer questions and the question of which source will answer them today. Only then will it be decided whether the gap will be closed by a page, an article or a press source.
How do you measure whether it works?
We check the same buyer questions monthly in several AI systems and record mentions and cited sources, supplemented by rankings and queries per page. The decisive factor is the comparison against unedited pages - without this reference, impact cannot be distinguished from market movements.
What doesn't this work solve?
It does not replace sales or positioning. If the offer is unclear or no one handles the inquiries that arise, visibility doesn't help. And everything outside of your domain; trade press, directories, mentions; is its own lever with its own time requirements.
