SEO and AI visibility for Tax advisers & law firms.
Clients seek specialists, not just nearby firms. Clear pages for niches such as e-commerce, crypto assets or healthcare help buyers verify your expertise.

Our clients
Insel Gruppe — Bern University HospitalIf you occupy a niche, you don't have to wait for recommendations.
Tax advice is a referral business - and most law firms would like to have a second source of income. Today, clients are looking for the case instead of the proximity: tax advisors for online retailers, law firms for crypto assets, who knows about OSS. These questions go to an AI first, long before anyone calls.
Whether ongoing accounting, annual financial statements, payroll, self-disclosure, succession or digital business models: We build the page for every specialization that answers the question - factually, with a process and cost framework, professionally clean and without promises of savings.
What changes
- You will be mentioned when someone asks for a law firm that specializes in your exact area of focus.
- Each specialization has its own page with the process, requirements and cost framework.
- Your professionals are visible with qualifications - the strongest signal of trust when it comes to tax issues.
What we do for Tax advisers & law firms.
Pages per specialization
E-commerce, crypto assets, practices, succession, international issues: one page per focus, with process, requirements and delimitation.
Service pages for day-to-day business
Accounting, annual financial statements, wages, advice - one page each instead of a list that sounds the same for every law firm.
Introduce the professionals
Author profiles with qualifications and focus, linked to the expert articles. Anonymous tax content is not suitable as a source.
Specialist articles with primary source
Contributions that refer to paragraphs, BMF letters and judgments instead of repeating external summaries - exactly the format that is quoted.
Professionally tested language
Factual information about key areas of activity, without promises of success or savings. No disadvantage: market shouting doesn't work in AI answers anyway.
Local basis and chamber profile
Google Business Profile, chamber directory and website with identical information, plus structured data for law firm and locations.
How are tax firms recommended by AI?
The search for an adviser has shifted earlier. Anyone looking for a tax advisor today rarely asks about “tax advisor nearby”, but instead asks about the case: “tax advisor for Shopify retailers”, “law firm for crypto assets”, “who knows about OSS procedures”. These are specialization questions, and they are increasingly being asked of AI systems before a firm website is even accessed.
The starting point is low. In our industry benchmark, the average AI visibility score for law and tax is 18 out of 100; the second lowest score of all industries surveyed. For a law firm, this is less bad news than an open door: the competition is just as invisible there, and a few well-documented pages are enough to dominate a niche.
What is weighted has been investigated. The Princeton study on Generative Engine Optimization (KDD 2024) measured a 115% higher probability of citation for sources, and +41% for expert citations with attribution. This is a home game for law firms: paragraphs, BMF letters and judgments are the currency of the industry anyway. The expert article that clearly refers to the primary source is exactly the format that is cited.
At the same time, the topic is sensitive. Tax advice falls into the area in which search systems check particularly strictly for verifiable professionalism - authorship with professional names, topicality, clear distinction between general information and advice in individual cases. An anonymous blog post without an author is not a weak signal, but rather a reason for exclusion.
There is also professional law. Tax advisors are permitted to advertise as long as it remains factual and does not contain any promises of success or savings. This excludes exactly the formulations that other industries use - and is not a disadvantage: factual, proven statements are what are quoted anyway. Hype is not rewarded by AI systems; it is ignored.
In practice, this means: one page per specialization, with the process, requirements, boundaries and the questions that clients actually ask in the initial consultation. Not a benefits page that covers accounting, financial statements, payroll and consulting at the same time. Google AI Mode breaks down a query into eight to twelve sub-questions - a general page answers one of them.

Buying questions AI answers in this industry.
“Which tax advisor is familiar with our business model?”
“How much does ongoing care cost and what is included?”
“How does a change of law firm work?”
We ask these questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, then record which companies are named.
What holds visibility back for Tax advisers & law firms.
The firm sounds like every other firm.
Bookkeeping, annual financial statements, wages - the same list as thousands of other law firms. No system can deduce from this whether you are the correct address. The specialization exists in the minds of the partners, but not on the website.
Specialist articles without an author.
Contributions appear under “law firm” or “admin”, without professionals, without qualifications, without dates. On a topic that touches on assets and liability, the lack of authorship is not a detail, but rather the reason why the article is not suitable as a source.
Clients ask the AI first.
The preselection occurs before anyone calls. Anyone who is not mentioned in the specialization question is not on the list - and only notices it because there are fewer initial interviews, not why.
How we make Tax advisers & law firms visible.

Build authorship
Posts with professional, qualifications and date. Primary source instead of summarizing other people's summaries.

We start with an inventory: What mandates do the law firm have, what questions do these clients ask, and what of them is on the website today. Everything that follows is yours, even if the collaboration ends.
When we are not the right fit.
Law firms underestimate how powerful specialization is. The “Tax advice for online retailers” page wins against the “Our services” page because it answers a question instead of listing an offer. And professional law is not an obstacle: what is factual and documented is preferred anyway.

Common questions about Tax advisers & law firms.
Is this permissible under professional law?
Yes. Tax advisors are permitted to provide factual information about key areas of activity. Promises of success and savings as well as misleading comparisons are not permitted. We avoid exactly these formulations anyway because they have no effect in AI answers.
We are generalists. Does this still work?
Restricted. Without a focus, the question to which your site would be the best answer is missing. There is usually one anyway: the client group that comes disproportionately often. That's the starting point, even if it doesn't feel like specialization internally.
Who writes the expert articles?
The draft comes from us, the technical review and approval comes from you. We will not publish an article on tax law without an examination by a professional - that is not a precaution, but rather a prerequisite for it to be a suitable source.
When could we expect the first enquiry?
The first rankings and mentions usually appear after four to eight weeks per page. It will take several more months for these to become mandates - changing law firms is a decision that has to be made a long time in advance, and visibility doesn't change that.
Do we need a new website for this?
Most of the time not. The work happens on structure, content and structured data. A relaunch without this work does not solve the problem, it postpones it to a new design.
What about review portals?
They are a building block because AI systems give greater weight to third-party sources than to self-representation. But they do not replace your own specialization page: The portal says that you exist, and your page states in which case you are the right address.
How do you measure whether it has worked?
For each specialization question, we track monthly which law firms are mentioned in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, as well as rankings and access to the associated pages. Initial discussions are the late key figure, which is why we also measure the intermediate steps.
What doesn't this work solve?
It does not replace capacity or a fee decision. If the law firm cannot accept new mandates, visibility is the wrong project. And recommendations from inventory remain the strongest channel in this industry; visibility complements it, not replaces it.
