SEO and AI visibility for Manufacturing & mid-market.
Technical buyers ask AI about processes, suppliers and feasibility in their own terms. Detailed process pages, use cases and technical data make in-house expertise findable.

Our clients
Insel Gruppe — Bern University HospitalTechnical purchasing starts with research, not a phone call.
Anyone looking for a component, a process or a material first researches the specification, standard, availability and references. This research is increasingly carried out via AI systems and is answered from data sheets, specialist portals and manufacturer websites, which are complete.
Whether suppliers, process engineering, materials or special machine construction: the leverage lies in separate pages for each process and application, in usable technical information instead of PDF downloads, and in presence on the specialist portals that are cited in your niche.
What changes
- You show up when someone searches for a procedure or application, not just your company name.
- Technical information is legible on the page instead of in a PDF that no system opens.
- Your use cases are described individually - that's where the enquiry originates, not on the company website.
What we do for Manufacturing & mid-market.
Pages for each production process
One procedure, one page: area of application, limits, tolerances, standards, process. Collection pages do not answer any technical questions.
Describe use cases
Industries and application scenarios individually, with the requirements that apply there. This is the language in which purchases are made.
Make technical data readable
Specifications, materials and characteristic values as text and structured data instead of as a data sheet download.
Certificates and standards
Approvals, test certificates and standards as a separate, searchable page - an exclusion criterion in technical purchasing, not an accessory.
Specialist portals and directories
Presence on the platforms that are cited in your niche. Portals do not replace a process page, but they support it.
International markets
Language versions that are more than just a translation: your own terms, your own standards, your own competitors for each market.
How do buyers find industrial suppliers via AI?
Medium-sized industrial companies have the best raw material for AI visibility and use it the least. What is cited is proven specialist knowledge: The Princeton study (KDD 2024) measures +40% citation probability for concrete statistics and +115% for source information. It is precisely this substance - tolerances, process limits, material data - that is found in every engineering office, but rarely on a website.
There is also a generational change in purchasing. The provider search is shifting from trade fair catalogs and inventory relationships to digital research, and in B2B services the average AI visibility score is 20 out of 100. Anyone who documents early here occupies a category in which hardly anyone is active.
The third hurdle is linguistic. The internal process name and the term a buyer is searching for are often two different languages. Without this translation, even good specialist material ends up on a page that no one can find - that's why we prioritize query testing before writing.
This check only uses real numbers from the Google Ads API, not estimates from SEO tools or information from AI systems. The result is sometimes uncomfortable: there is often no significant search volume for a specific procedure, but there is for the problem it solves. Then the page about the problem is created and leads to the procedure, not the other way around.
The structure of a process page then follows what buyers and technicians check: application case, technical limits, tolerances, materials, typical batch sizes and the honest statement as to when another process would be better suited. It is precisely this distinction that is cited because it answers a question that pure provider sites leave unanswered.
To ensure that the work remains realistic, we work with interviews instead of questionnaires. An hour with the operations or technical manager provides enough substance for a full page, and the recorded material can be used multiple times: for the website, for bid documents and for expert articles in industry media.
To put expectations into perspective: Industry purchasing cycles last months to years, and visibility doesn't change that. What changes is the probability of even getting into the shortlist. That's why we measure intermediate steps - rankings, mentions, hits per process page - instead of waiting for months for the first enquiry and then having to guess retroactively what worked.

Buying questions AI answers in this industry.
“Which method is suitable for requirement X?”
“Which suppliers manufacture Y with this tolerance?”
“How much does Z cost in small series?”
We ask these questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, then record which companies are named.
What holds visibility back for Manufacturing & mid-market.
Expert knowledge stays with the team instead of reaching the website.
Decades of procedural knowledge; but the website shows machine photos and an About Us text from 2015. AI can only quote what is documented, and photos are not the answer to a technical question.
Technical terms do not match buyer searches.
The internal process name and what buyers are looking for are two languages. Without translation, no query will lead to the right page - even if the page is technically excellent.
Generational change in purchasing.
The new generation of buyers is researching digitally and increasingly using AI instead of the trade fair catalog. Anyone who only relies on existing relationships will quietly lose new business - there will be no rejection, just no inquiry.

The material comes from your company, the processing comes from us. We expect a technical interview to last about an hour per page of the procedure - it usually doesn't take any more internal time.
When we are not the right fit.
In medium-sized companies, the best content lies in the head of the operations manager. An hour of interview provides more quotable substance than three weeks of external copywriting - because no one from the outside knows why tolerance becomes a problem with exactly this procedure.

Common questions about Manufacturing & mid-market.
Our customers come through recommendations. Why should that change?
Things are already changing: Recommended people are also checked before the enquiry, increasingly using AI. And the next generation of buyers is starting their provider search digitally - where many medium-sized companies have not yet appeared.
Our products are too specialized to have search volume. Does this still work?
We check this before we build; with real numbers from the Google Ads API. Often the procedure is specific, but the problem behind it is searched for thousands of times. If there really isn't anything we're looking for, we say so and don't build a page for it.
How much time will our team need to invest?
Approximately one hour-long technical interview plus one approval session per process page. We take care of recording, structuring, text and schema.
Will publishing details give away our know-how?
You set the limit. In practice, the competitive advantage rarely lies in the description of a process, but rather in its mastery. Anything that falls under secrecy remains outside - what you would also explain at the trade fair stand will be documented.
Isn't an entry in industry portals enough?
Portals are an important building block because AI frequently cites them. But they do not replace your own procedure page: the portal says that you exist, and on your page it says why you can solve the requirement.
When could we expect the first enquiry?
Realistically several months. The first rankings and mentions usually appear after four to eight weeks per page, inquiries follow later - industry purchasing cycles are long, and visibility doesn't change that.
How do you measure progress?
For each process page, we track rankings, access and mentions in AI answers to the associated specialist questions. Because industry buying cycles are long, the inquiry is a late metric; that's why we also measure the intermediate steps instead of waiting months for a single result.
What doesn't this work solve?
It does not shorten purchasing cycles and does not replace trade fair presence or inventory maintenance. She ensures that you appear in the digital preselection. Building a presence in specialist media and industry portals is a separate lever that also takes time.
