Why it matters
Thin product pages are not enough when buyers ask AI for comparisons, criteria and recommendations. HubSpot (2025) found 43% of users already turn to AI assistants instead of Google for product research, so the shortlist forms before the first store visit.
43%
research with AI
Share of users turning to AI assistants instead of Google for product research (HubSpot State of AI 2025).
70.19%
carts abandoned
Average ecommerce abandonment rate across 49 analysed studies (Baymard Institute 2025).
3
layers
Category, product and content are worked on together, not separately.
0
thin pages
Every category and product page answers a visible buyer question.
Many Shopify stores are too thin for AI.
Products exist, but the store does not explain criteria, variants, exclusions and buying use cases well enough.
Shop pages become buying answers.
The store should explain which product fits which buyer and why.
Result
AI should not just find your company. AI should understand when your offer fits.

Shopify SEO
Shopify GEO adds AI answers and product understanding to SEO.
Theme work
Design is not enough. Content, data and structure have to work.
Product texts
Single texts are not enough. Categories and internal links matter too.
What it needs.
Clear answers.
Is this just normal Shopify SEO?
It includes SEO but goes further. We also check whether AI systems can understand and compare your products and categories at all. HubSpot (2025) found 43% of users use AI instead of Google for product research.
Do you change the theme?
Only where necessary. Most of the work starts with content, structure, internal links and product data. Theme changes are the expensive path and rarely the one that produces the first measurable movement.
Which pages come first?
Categories and products with demand, margin or a clear AI visibility gap. On large catalogues we work in waves: highest-revenue categories first, then the products beneath them, with a measurement point in between.
Is this worth it for a small catalogue?
Often more so than for a large one. With few products every page can genuinely be made strong instead of rolling patterns across thousands of items. What matters is whether your products need explaining and get compared.
How does this connect to conversion?
Directly. Baymard Institute (2025) reports an average 70.19% cart abandonment rate, and large stores can raise conversion by an average of 35.26% through better checkout design alone. Visibility without conversion is wasted budget.
How long until we see results?
First movement in Google usually after four to eight weeks, similar in AI answers. Reliable conclusions need several measurement points, because both Google and the AI engines re-rank continuously during that window.
The services work together.
