getSichtbar

SEO and AI visibility for Consulting & specialist services.

Consulting depends on trust: buyers compare methods, people and outcomes. We make all three visible through clear process pages, named experts and approved case evidence.

A promise is hard to compare. A clear method is easier.

Advice does not sell a product. There is no specification, no price per piece, no feature list. The question remains whether anyone understands the problem - and today that is first asked of an AI that looks for verifiable sources and finds nothing when abstracted.

Whether funding, organizational development, communication, succession or certification: the leverage lies in naming the reason for which you are brought in, disclosing the procedure and making the minds visible. In an industry where people deliver the service, the anonymous website is a contradiction.

What changes

  • You will be mentioned when someone asks for advice on your exact occasion.
  • The process, duration and cost framework are on the page - the questions that are asked in purchasing anyway.
  • Your experts are visible with qualifications instead of behind a team photo without a name.

What we do for Consulting & specialist services.

Pages for specific consulting needs

Merger, succession, funding application, certification, crisis: one page per situation instead of one page about support in general.

Disclose the procedure

Phases, duration, participants, result and cost framework. Five pieces of information that cover the majority of the sub-questions in purchasing.

Introduce the experts

Author profiles with qualifications and areas of responsibility, linked to contributions and projects. The strongest signal in this industry.

Make cases comprehensible

Initial situation, procedure, result - released, or anonymized with industry, size and result size.

Technical articles from practice

Posts that answer a question from your projects that no one else can answer. Summaries measurably achieve almost nothing.

Classification and directories

Specialist media, associations and directories in which your field is searched - third-party sources weigh more heavily than any self-description.

How are consultants recommended by AI?

Consulting sells a promise, not a product. This is exactly what makes visibility difficult: there is no specification to compare, no price per unit, no list of features. What remains is the question of whether anyone understands the problem; and today that question is increasingly being asked first of an AI system.

The starting point is 20 out of 100 in the industry benchmark for B2B service providers. That's midfield, and it means, above all, that hardly anyone in this segment has done the work. These are good conditions for consultancies with a clear focus: a few well-documented pages are enough to be regularly mentioned on a specialist question.

What is quoted is well researched and fits this industry. The Princeton study (KDD 2024) measures +41% citation probability for expert quotes with attribution, +115% for sources and +40% for concrete statistics. Copy editing alone brings around +3%. Consultancies have exactly this material - methodology, empirical values, named experts - but it is rarely available on the website in a usable form.

The most common mistake is abstraction. “We support organizations in change processes” describes everything and nothing. This isn't wrong for buyers, just useless, and there's nothing to be extracted from it for AI systems. It only becomes useful when a reason is named: merger, succession, funding application, certification, crisis communication.

Added to this is the structure of the questions. Google AI Mode breaks down a query into eight to twelve sub-questions - and the sub-questions in consulting purchasing are almost always the same: How does it work, roughly how much does it cost, how long does it take, who specifically does it, what is the result. Anyone who answers these five will cover the majority of the expanded AI search.

The last point is visibility of people. In an industry where people deliver the service, the anonymous website is a contradiction. Author profiles with qualifications, lectures, expert articles and named contact people are not a choice here - they are evidence that does not exist otherwise.

Buying questions AI answers in this industry.

“Who advises on this exact topic?”

“How does a project like this work and how much does it approximately cost?”

“Which results are realistic?”

We ask these questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, then record which companies are named.

What holds visibility back for Consulting & specialist services.

The service is described too abstractly.

Support, transformation, strategy. No reason, no process, no result. Neither a buyer can derive a decision from this nor a system can quote a statement.

The experts are absent.

In an industry where people deliver the service, the website is left without a name, without qualifications, without a face. This means that exactly the evidence that systems give the greatest weight to is missing.

No documented cases.

Experience from twenty projects, but not a single comprehensible representation of it. Without a starting point, procedure and result, experience remains an assertion.

How we make Consulting & specialist services visible.

Name occasions

What specific situations are you brought in for? This becomes the page structure, not the service portfolio.

Disclose the process

Phases, duration, participants, result, cost framework. The five questions that are asked in the expanded AI search anyway.

Introduce the experts

Author profiles with qualifications and areas of responsibility, linked to expert articles and projects.

Document case evidence

Initial situation, procedure, result with time period - anonymized if approval is missing.

How working with us goes.

Four steps from the first call to ongoing delivery. The process is the same for every service.

  1. First call

In 15 minutes we clarify your category, your goal and where you stand in Google and in AI answers today.

  2. Analysis

Our platform runs real buying questions through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google and shows which providers get named and which evidence you are missing.

  3. Plan

You receive a prioritised plan with sequence, effort and expected impact. Then you decide whether we work together.

  4. Delivery

We implement, measure mentions, rankings and traffic every month and report in a shared Slack channel.

What you get.

We'll start with the occasions that you're actually brought to and measure who is mentioned in these questions today. This determines the order of work.

Measurement of the technical questions in your field, per system, with the providers named today and the sources cited.
One page per consultation event, with process, duration, participants, result and cost framework.
Author profiles with qualifications and areas of responsibility, linked to contributions and projects.
Case descriptions with initial situation, procedure and result - released or anonymized.
Monthly review of the responses per technical question, with what’s coming up next.

When we are not the right fit.

Consultancies without a specific reason - without a concrete situation there is no question to be answered.
Anyone who does not want to disclose the process or cost framework. Then the answers that make the purchase are missing.
Pure network business with no interest in outside inquiries.
Consultancies hesitate from providing specific information because every case is different. That's true and is still no reason to keep quiet about the process and the cost framework. An honest range with explanation is useful for both the buyer and the system. It is not a contact form.

Common questions about Consulting & specialist services.

Every engagement is different. How can we discuss pricing?

As a range with an explanation: what the effort is based on and what drives it. This is honest, filters out inappropriate inquiries and answers one of the five sub-questions that are asked in purchasing anyway.

Can this work if we cannot name our clients?

Yes, anonymized: industry, size, initial situation, procedure, result size. This is weaker than a released case, but significantly stronger than nothing at all. For ongoing projects, it's worth requesting approval early on - it rarely gets easier later on.

Why are author profiles so important?

Because your performance depends on people. The Princeton study measured a 41% higher probability of citation for expert quotes with attribution. A post without an author gives away exactly this signal - and has an equally non-binding effect on readers.

Should we start a blog?

Only if you bring in real knowledge. Summaries of other people's summaries are of no use; The Princeton study measures around +3% for pure text revision without new substance. Posts that answer a question from your projects that no one else can answer are useful.

When could we expect the first enquiry?

The first mentions of technical questions usually appear after four to eight weeks per page. Consulting decisions have a long lead time, which is why the enquiry is a late key figure - we also measure the intermediate steps.

Isn't LinkedIn enough?

LinkedIn is a good channel for reach and an important profile for classifying your people. As a source for AI answers, it is limited: posts are difficult to find and disappear in the feed. Your own page remains the place to which reference can be made.

How do you measure progress?

For each technical question, we track monthly which providers are mentioned in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google, as well as rankings and access per event page. What is important is the development per question, not an overall value.

What doesn't this work solve?

It does not replace references or networks. During the consultation, it is often the decision as to who recommends you. Visibility ensures that you appear even where this recommendation is missing.
